Friends of St Mary’s Churchyard
The friends of St. Mary's Nature Reserve are a small group of local and other concerned people who can be seen on Sunday's improving the environment of St. Mary's Churchyard Leyton. At the moment it involves clearing and burning excess vegetation. However as a properly constituted group we have recently acquired considerable financial backing with which we can provide proper tools both to involve more people and to speed the landscaping of the reserve and improve the condition of the gravestones
Our Friends group is led by Carmela Crute Jones who can be contacted on 07814 475191. She can advise on potential membership queries and other issues relating to conservation in the graveyard at St Mary's.
